Hours go up and the mock score stays flat: it is one of the most concrete complaints in students’ own posts. This check separates three leaks that a score alone hides: too many wrong answers, too many skipped questions, or one subject pulling the rest down. Type in the numbers from a mock you have already sat and this page tells you which one, with a 7-day plan. It runs on your device; nothing is sent to us.
Marking follows the NEET (UG) 2026 paper: +4 for a right answer, −1 for a wrong one, 0 for a skipped one; 180 questions (Physics 45, Chemistry 45, Biology 90) in 180 minutes. NTA has not published a 2027 pattern yet (checked 26 September 2026), so you can change the question counts if your coaching mock uses another layout.
A wrong answer costs 5 marks compared with a right one: the 4 you did not get plus the 1 deducted. So the check looks at accuracy first. If fewer than 80% of the questions you attempted were right, wrong answers are the leak. If accuracy is above that but you attempted fewer than 90% of the paper, skipping is the leak. Otherwise it compares marks per question across subjects. These cut-offs are rules of thumb, not research findings; the arithmetic behind them is exact.
The plan leans on two study methods with strong research behind them: answering from memory before checking (retrieval practice) and coming back to the same question after growing gaps (spaced review). That is what today’s revision does with the questions you get wrong.
