NEET 2027 plan for Class 12, around your boards
By PrepBrix · Published · Weeks dated from
If you are in Class 12 and sitting NEET 2027, this is one list to follow alongside school and boards. Class 12 lessons come in NCERT order before the board months, with Class 11 units to revise each week. The board months hold no new NEET lessons. After boards come revision and timed past papers. It makes no promise about marks or ranks.
When is NEET 2027?
Date not yet notified. NTA has not announced a date for NEET (UG) 2027 (we last checked neet.nta.nic.in on 28 Sep 2026; see exam updates).
The typical window is early May. NTA set each of the last two exams for the first Sunday of May: NEET (UG) 2025 on 4 May 2025 (NTA, Information Bulletin for NEET (UG) 2025) and NEET (UG) 2026 on 3 May 2026 (NTA, Information Bulletin for NEET (UG) 2026). That paper was cancelled; NTA held the re-examination on 21 June 2026.
So this plan ends on 25 Apr 2027, a week before the first Sunday of May 2027 (2 May 2027). That is our planning end, not an exam date. When NTA notifies the date, we re-date the plan.
How the plan works
- 30 weeks, Monday to Sunday. 13 weeks bring new lessons: 256 Class 12 lessons on PrepBrix (Physics 122, Chemistry 86, Biology 48), each subject in NCERT chapter order, the three subjects side by side. That is about 20 short lessons in a new-lesson week, around 3 a day over six days.
- Each new-lesson week also names one to three Class 11 units to revise (26 units in all): open the unit, redo its past NEET questions, and reopen any lesson you get wrong.
- Every 4th week is a catch-up week (5 in all): no new lessons, finish what you missed, then past NEET questions and one timed test.
- 9 board-month weeks (February and March) hold no new NEET lessons: ten minutes of revision a day, and a short timed test on a gap day.
- The last 3 weeks are revision and timed papers: no new lessons, a timed paper every other day, and daily revision of what you got wrong.
- Every lesson has MCQs that explain each wrong option, and past NEET questions where a paper asked about the topic. Wrong answers go into your revision list and come back after 1, 3 and 7 days.
The pace is a suggestion. If your coaching or school order differs, follow it and use the weeks for the dates, catch-ups and revision. A tick means you opened a lesson in this browser (no login), not that you have mastered it.
Missed a week? Do this
- Don't restart the plan and don't push every date back. Open this week's list and do it.
- Put the missed lessons into the next catch-up week. That is what it is for.
- Missed more than one catch-up week can hold? For each missed lesson, do only its MCQs and past NEET questions, and skip rereading. What you get wrong comes back in revision.
- Missed a catch-up week too? The revision weeks at the end are the last buffer. Protect them: they are where timed papers happen.
- A school test week, practicals or pre-boards: treat it as a missed week. Boards come first; the plan bends around them.
Boards
Most Class 12 boards hold their theory exams in February and March, so this plan keeps those weeks for boards. Check your own board's date sheet: if your exams start earlier or end later, treat the extra weeks as board weeks and use the next catch-up week to recover. The Class 12 NCERT chapters you study for boards are the same chapters NEET asks from, so board study is NEET study too.
A limit, stated plainly: this plan revises Class 11 unit by unit; it cannot also relearn all of Class 11 from scratch alongside Class 12 and boards. If most of Class 11 is new to you, the dropper plan shows what the full syllabus takes.
